Movie Link

So instead of taking notes in accounting class, I was playing Movie Link on my notebook. Rules are simple: name an actor or actress then name a movie they were in then name another actor/actress in that movie and just keep going until you can't think of anything else. Oh, and no repeats. I cheated a bit by using some TV shows but who cares. Here's what I got in 1 hour and 50 minutes' class time:

David Tennant > Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire > Helena Bonham Carter > Fight Club > Brad Pitt > Interview with the Vampire > Christian Slater > Heathers > Winona Ryder > Edward Scissorhands > Johnny Depp > Charlie and the Chocolate Factory > Noah Taylor > Tomb Raider > Angelina Jolie > Mr. and Mrs. Smith > Vince Vaughn > The Break-Up > Jennifer Aniston > Friends > David Schwimmer > Madagascar > Chris Rock > Everybody Hates Chris > Jason Alexander > Shallow Hal > Jack Black > King Kong > Adrien Brody > Dummy > Milla Jovovich > The Fifth Element > Gary Oldman > The Dark Knight > Christian Bale > American Psycho > Reese Witherspoon > Legally Blonde > Luke Wilson > Charlie's Angels > Drew Barrymore > The Wedding Singer > Adam Sandler > I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry > Kevin James > Hitch > Will Smith > Independence Day > Jeff Goldblum > Jurassic Park > Sam Neill > Bicentennial Man > Robin Williams > Jumanji > Kristen Dunst > Spiderman > James Franco > Pineapple Express > Seth Rogen > Horton Hears a Who! > Jim Carrey > Batman Forever > Michael Gough > Batman > Michael Keaton > Beetle Juice > Alec Baldwin > It's Complicated > Steve Martin > Bringing Down the House > Queen Latifah > Ice Age 2 > John Leguizamo > Super Mario Bros. > Bob Hoskins > Maid in Manhattan > Jennifer Lopez > Selena > Constance Marie > The George Lopez Show > Valente Rodriguez > 500 Days of Summer > Joseph Gordon-Levitt > Inception > Leonardo DiCaprio > Catch Me If You Can > Tom Hanks > Toy Story > Tim Allen > Christmas with the Cranks > Jamie Lee Curtis > Freaky Friday > Lindsey Lohan > Mean Girls > Rachel McAdams > The Notebook > Ryan Gosling > Young Hercules > Nathaniel Lee > 30 Days of Night > Josh Hartnett > Pearl Harbor > Ben Affleck > Daredevil > Jennifer Garner > Juno > Emily Perkins > It > Tim Curry > Alice (Syfy) > Kathy Bates > Titanic > Kate Winslet > Finding Neverland

And that's where I ran out of actors and movies as well as time. I must admit I am quite impressed at how big a list this is. I am quite the movie person!

Yes, yes. Believe it or not, I bought a dress. After church (which I did not go to), my grandma suggested that we go out to Thrift Town and have a look around. I haven't been there in quite a while so I figured 'Sure, why not?'.
Once there, I didn't really find much that I liked. I browsed through trinkets, tried on a football helmet and went through the kids' stuff. Nothing all that interesting. After going through the men's section, I found myself a clip on bow tie like the ones we used to have to wear back in band class in middle school. I was thrilled! Unfortunately, there was no price tag but I decided to keep it with me until we were ready to leave and ask for a price. I got bored after a while so I tagged along after my mom until I remembered that I've been wanting a dress so that I can cut and sew it up or whatever so I found this one:
(Trust me, my face looks better pixelated than not...)
The dress comes all the way down to my ankles which in a way is good. I plan to cut it to about half way down my thigh-ish and use any extra fabric for whatever add-ons I want to do with it. I actually rather liked how I rolled it up in the dressing room but I'm still thinking of anything else I can do. I'm thinking maybe adding white or black lace to the bottom so that calls for a trip to Jo Ann's so yay!

While at Wal-Mart, I remember that I've been wanting to buy a new memory card for my phone. I am pleased to see a 2 GB with a SD adapter card for about $10. I plan to buy it soon along with some new headphones.

Oh, and also, I finally got myself a calender. Excellent for writing down work days and other crap I hate. I wanted something cooler but it was only a buck so eh. Maybe next year.

Christmas List!

Wow, I haven't written in here in like forever! Anyways, seeing as how Christmas is coming up, I figured I'd write up myself a Christmas list and pretend that I will be getting everything that I want since in real life, I mostly likely won't be getting a single one. Here we go:
Apple Macbook

a new iPod

pet rats

Carpet for my room

Bones season 1, 2 and 4 box set

Doctor Who series 1-4 box set

cool bone pen like Brigitte's in Ginger Snaps
Adam

and I think that's it? Its weird 'cause I thought that it would have been a bigger list than that...

Movies and Telly

Okay so there's a lot of stuff I want to watch, both TV and movies. I have a list in my head but I think it would make it a whole lot easier if I were to actually write it all down. Hopefully I can remember it all but most likely I won't. I'll probably be updating this list as more stuff catch my attention or if I just simply remember something from my head list.
Keep in mind that this is all stuff that I have never seen before or I caught maybe a few minutes with those minutes catching my interest (I should maybe make a list of what I have already seen). Also, I know that some of the stuff listed under TV might have been cancelled but I would still like to watch it just to satisfy my own curiousity.

Boring Saturday

I didn't have much going on today. Karen didn't come over like I hoped she would because she had to fill out her FAFSA stuff. I spent my day moping around my house and trying to cool down.

Around 2pm, my cousin Angela asked me and Corina if she wanted to come over to her house to watch a movie. I said sure. I got mad though because I found out that Armida stole my belt before she left to go hang out with her friends.

At my cousin's, we watched Tristan and Isolde on her roommate Tyler's biiiiiig computer monitor. I've been wanting to see that movie for a while (I love Sophia Myles, she's so pretty! and James Franco too!) and I can now finally cross that off my movie list. About halfway through the movie, Angela and her friend Erin went to go get us some ice cream since we were all so hot. While I waited for them to come back, I went on Tyler's computer and updated my Twitter and watched half of the first episode of True Blood. The show is really interesting! I need to watch more.

Anyways, they came back and we finished watching the movie and ate ice cream. After the movie, me and Corina went home and I spent the rest of the evening in my room reading Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Chavo was with me to keep me company. I was texting Karen so that my last texts would not go to waste.

I got bored so I ate a blueberry bagel with cream cheese and I found some food coloring and put some in my milk to make it all bluey-tealy.

You can kind of see some of the blue milk on Chavo's chin lol.

He kept looking at my with those big brown eyes that I couldn't help but share some of my bagel with him.

New-ish room

So yesterday, me and Armida did a tinny bit of redecorating. We went to Target to find some mats to replace the ugly towels on my furniture but we couldn't find any there. We did find some at the dollar store and bought like 7 of them. Just simply replacing them made a huge difference and now my room looks bigger, wider and even a bit modern looking.

Dresser. All my books and crap are for once organized.

It was Armida's idea to put my Pocky collection there. At first I didn't want to but it actually does look pretty good there. She let me borrow her mounting tape and now I don't have to worry about any of them falling down.

Replaced the tacky white towel and now my desk kinda looks like a pool table! I stacked my textbooks under the desk along with Armida's laptop case and some of my mom's boxes. I still need to organized all that crap in the corner.

My dinosaur's new home right next to the globe and window. Once I finish my red one, he's going up there too.

Family time :)

Corina wanted to go to this graduation party thing so we all piled into my dad's car to take her. It felt weird because all five of us haven't been in that car for years. I don't remember it ever being that uncomfortably cozy lol.
After we dropped Corina off, my dad got us pizza and we ate and drove to Lake Chabot. We took a little walk down to the lake. It was fun and I took a few pictures. I was disappointed because I didn't bring my camera and had to use my phone instead. Oh how I wish my phone came with zoom and flash!

Haha my parents don't know how to correctly take pictures together.
