Me and Armida were out and about doing some errands.

But first, lunch! I had a McChicken mini meal at McDonald's. They put too much mayo so I had to wipe some off with a napkin.

We went to Target and I bought some mail packaging stuff. I also bought this movie. Its like 80's MeanER Girls.

Queen of the Crappy Movie

Okay, so I finally finished reading Queen of the Damned. I've already seen the movie before but I decided that I wanted to read the book before I watched it again. I wanted to read the whole thing and then rewatch the movie and write down any kind of mistakes are in it. 

So I spent my afternoon doing just that. I now have 6 1/3 pages of mistakes in my notebook and I have them here all typed out. As you can see, I put a lot of effort into this.

1. Akasha and Enkil look like actual statues; their skin is supposed to look like stone while they still have real hair, clothes and jewelry.

2. Lestat still has the violin; Akasha smashed the violin the first time Lestat played for her.

3. Lestat is supposed to be blonde and blue/gray eyed.

4. In the movie, Lestat flew to the top of the building where he meets his future bandmates; only very old and powerful vampires can fly and Lestat is not able to fly unitl after he drinks Akasha's blood.

5. The band is supposed to recognize his name from "Interview with the Vampire," which was written by Daniel Molloy. This prompted him to write his own autobiography (which is never mentioned) along with the release of his album.

6. The concert is not in Death Valley, it is in San Francisco.

7. In the movie, victims are brought to Lestat. In the novel, Lestat does his own hunting, only feeding on evildoers.

8. Jesse is supposed to be about 35. In the movie, she is in her twenties.

9. Jesse did not visit the Sonoma compound where Maharet lived until she was in her twenties. Also, she never stayed with Maharet as a child; she was arranged to stay with cousins.

10. There is never any mention of the Legend of the Twins, which is a crucial part of the whole story.

11. Also, though it is briefly mentioned, there is not much detail on how the vampire race was created.

12. When Jesse started investigating Lestat, she did not first believe that he was what he said he was. It was not until she visited Lestat and Louis' town house in New Orleans did she start to believe.

13. There is no mention of Jesse having any psychic powers, which is the reason why she is in the Talamasca.

14. One of the senior Talamasca members tells Jesse that she is only an apprentice and doesn't do field work. In the novel, Jesse has been in the field for many cases.

15. David Talbot is supposed to be sixty-five years old.

16. David shows Jesse different paintings of Marius; the paintings are actually supposed to be of Armand by Marius.

17. Magnus, not Marius, made Lestat.

18. Marius is supposed to have shoulder length white blonde hair and blue eyes.

19. Lestat did not have a journal, he wrote an autobiography.

20. Lestat did not meet Marius until about a decade ater he was made while he travelled Europe and Asia, finally meeting him in Egypt.

21. When Lestat was made, Magnus committed suicide, so Lestat never received guidance.

22. In the movie, Lestat got his violin from the girl on the beach. The violin was actually Nicki's; Lestat gave it to him as a gift only to receive it back when Nicki committed suicide. 

23. Marius had already taken Lestat to see Akasha and Enkil before. It is later that Lestat goes back to the shrine to play for them in hopes of waking them up.

24. The shrine is dark and empty except for a few torches. The shrine is actually supposed to be bright, have walls with ancient Egyptian paintings and art, flowers and incense.

25. Akasha is supposed to be very white due to her age. She also has black hair and blue eyes.

26. When Akasha allows Lestat to feed on her, Enkil tries to kill him but is stopped by Akasha and Marius. In the movie, Enkil never moves.

27. There is not much history revealed about Akasha and Enkil.

28. Marius is supposed to to send Lestat away, not leave him behind.

29. Jesse never went to the coven house.

30. Lestat was not at the coven house; if he were, he would have been killed.

31. Lestat and Jesse do not meet until the day of the concert.

32. Maharet had also told Jesse in a letter not to go to the concert.

33. Marius never visited Lestat; he was trapped in ice and the remains of his house when Akasha awoke and drained Enkil. He sent a warning to all that danger was coming.

34. Louis is supposed to go see Lestat the night before the concert.

35. Makers and fledglings cannot hear each others thoughts, let alone know where they always are.

36. No one was aware that Akasha was awake until after the concert. Only Marius knew since he witnessed it; Lestat found out when he returned home.

37. When Enkil was killed, his body becomes clear as glass for Akasha had drained him completely.

38. Throughout the novel, the being who was killing vampires all over the world is unknown. In the movie, it is not mentioned of other vampires being killed, only that the one coven house was destroyed.

39. Akasha appears to kill all vampires but actually spares those whom Lestat knows and loves.

40. Khayman is never mentioned. He is the reason why there is a large number of vampires; he hoped to create enough to overthrow Akasha.

41. Jesse and Lestat are protrayed as being in love. Jesse is actually in love with Mael. Mael, however, is not mentioned by name.

42. The events between Jesse and Lestat before the concert never happened.

43. Lestat was supposed to arrive at the concert with Louis.

44. David alone tries to find Jesse at the concert and he encounters Marius. In the novel, Aaron Lightner is with him. Together, they encounter Khayman who they know as "Benjamin the Devil."

45. Marius is not present at the concert.

46. There is no mention of the concert taking place on Halloween.

47. Jesse is supposed to be at the very front of the crowd; she is supposed to jump on stage and embraces Lestat which confirms her belief that he is a real vampire. She also warns him of the other vampires in the crowd who wish to kill him.

48. In the novel, of the major characters, only Armand, Daniel, Louis, Gabrielle, Khayman and Mael are present at the concert.

49. Daniel, or his book, is never mentioned.

50. The vampires do not attack Lestat until after the concert. When they do attack and are burned, Akasha is not seen, so Lestat is still unaware that she is awake.

51. Only about three vampires actually attack Lestat.

52. Pandora is protrayed as being Indian. She is actually Greek.

53. During the attack, Gabrielle is supposed to save Lestat and Louis and drives off to Lestat's home.

54. After Louis and Gabrielle leave to sleep, Lestat prepares to sleep in his tomb only to find Akasha already there. He falls unconcious and she takes him away. In the movie, she takes him away in front of the audience.

55. Gabrielle is never mentioned.

56. Akasha is supposed to take Lestat to his old family castle where she teaches him to fly.

57. Jesse is supposed to be attacked by a vampire who identifies her as part of the Talamasca. She is thrown against a wall and breaks her neck. Mael manages to keep her alive and she is taken to the Sonoma compound. There, Maharet makes her into a vampire.

58. The compound is in Sonoma, California, not the Mojave Desert.

59. Only about 13 vampires survived Akasha's attack.

60. Santino and Eric do not appear as part of the surviving vampires, or at least, they are not mentioned by name.

61. Maharet mentions she had a child but never mentions that Khayman was the father.

62. The wall on the compound appears to be the only record of the Great Family.

63. Maharet does not appear to have red hair. It is actually more brown in the movie.

64. In the movie, Lestat and Akasha can go out in the sunlight without being harmed. In the novel, older vampires can be burnt by the sun while younger vampires can die from the sun exposure. Maharet mentions in the novel of occasionally, she would go out in the sun to achieve a more darker complexion in order to blend in better with mortals.

65. Akasha and Lestat travel to third world locations where Akasha convinces the women to kill almost all their men.

66. In the movie, Akasha wishes to kill all human; she views them all as food. In the novel, she actually wish to kill 90% of the men's population. It is her plan to make a world where women live in peace and worship her as their Goddess.

67. In the movie, Lestat hardly makes an attempt to change Akasha's mind about her plan.

68. It is Lestat that suggests that he and Akasha go see the other vampires at the compound.

69. Akasha agreed to see the others in hopes of making them her "angels." She never mentions this in the movie.

70. At the compound, Akasha asks Lestat to kill Jesse. At this point in the novel, Jesse is already a vampire.

71. Mekare is supposed to appear suddenly and sever off Akasha's head.

72. In the movie, Lestat feeds on Akasha and signals to Marius and the others to attack her. In the novel, when Mekare attacks Akasha, he does nothing to help the latter.

73. Mekare is the only one to attack Akasha.

74. None of the vampires gathered against Akasha die. In the movie, Pandora and another vampire are burned to death.

75. There shows no connection or bond between Marius and Pandora.

76. In the movie, Akasha dies from being drained of her last drop of blood by Maharet. In the novel, the Legend of the Twins becomes key to destroy her; Mekare consumes Akasha's heart and brain, making her the new Queen of the Damned.

77. Maharet turns to stone when she becomes the new Queen. Mekare is still awake after she consumes Akasha's heart and brain.

78. The surviving vampires leave the compound to stay at Armand's Night Island. There, they set upo rules on how they should continue to live in secret.

79. Lestat goes with Louis, not Jesse, to see David at the Talamasca.

80. At the end of the movie, after Lestat and Jesse leave David, Marius approaches David with the assumption that he will turn David into a vampire. One of the rules the vampires made was that they are not allowed to make more of the race.

81. It is actually Lestat who offered to make David into a vampire, not Jesse or Louis. Louis did not approve of Lestat taking him to the Talamasca and while Lestat talked to David, Louis stayed in the other room, never speaking to David himself.

82. In the novel, Lestat appears heartbroken and guilty about Akasha's death.

I just got back from spending the day in San Francisco with Karen.

We planned to go to the Century Theatre to watch Terminator Salvation a few days ago. We were excited to see Senor Bale. We met up around 11:15, 15 minutes after we said we would, which is like a new record! We usually meet like 30 minutes to almost an hour when we said we should meet. Anyways, we just barely caught the San Francisco train and spent most of our time talking about Death Note and other random stuff. 

Around 12 pm, we got off at Powell station and onto Market St. but not where we usually do so I felt kind of lost. I was worried that we once again got ourselves lost while I kept trying to look for something familiar. Karen seemed to know where she was and so she led us down the street until we saw the Apple store. We still had about two hours to kill so we checked out the laptops and iPods. We both updated our Twitters using the laptop that Karen wanted to get. 

After a while we headed over to Urban Outfitters. I saw that book that I've been wanting, "Stuff White People Like." I want it so bad but it cost $14. I'm trying to find a cheaper copy to buy on eBay. I was having fun looking through all the fun little trinkets though. We started browsing the clothes, mostly making fun of the pricing for thrift store worthy stuff. Everything is always so ridiculously overprice there, its crazy.

After that, Karen wanted to go to Sephora and I spent all my time following her around, absolutely bored to death. This one lady working there complimented me on my hair clip, which was real nice. 

A little while later, we headed to the mall and went up to the top floor to the theatre. We bought our tickets but we still had time before the movie. Over to the arcade we went. I found out that I had about 3 dollars worth of tokens already so that was pretty sweet. I was disappointed though that there was no House of the Dead but there was a DDR that caught my attention. First me and Karen played together. I did better than her as usual since I do, after all, have better DDR skills. When we finished, I decided to play again, this time on Difficult mode. I don't think it was hard, but I was getting tired and I haven't played in so long. I think my score was like a B. Not bad. Karen wanted to play a racing game but the game ate her tokens. We ended up playing seperately. I won third place. Once again, not bad. 

After the racing game, we bought some snacks and soda. A hotdog and a soda cost me almost $10. I hate movie food, always way overpriced. We went to our theatre and find some nice seats. Almost in the exact middle. Karen was doing stuff on her phone and I was taking a little trip down Memory Lane by looking at my old movie ticket stubs. We updated our Twitters again to let everyone know we were going to watch Terminator. 

I really like this one trailer. It's about the same guy who played Borat. I forgot what his name is supposed to be. Anyways, in one scene he goes into a Sears wearing these really weird clothes and he tell one of the workers "You might find this hard to believe, but I'm gay." Freakin' hilarious. I want to watch it now.

 

Oh, and I want to watch the new Sherlock Holmes movie. At first I thought it might be kind of dull but it actually looks real interesting! It comes out on Christmas day. I hope to go see it. 

The movie finally started. I love it. Lots of action and not too much sitting and talking. Just the way I like it. Christian Bale was excellent in it. Sometimes, I thought I heard a little Botmon voice in his speech which I found absolutely amusing. I loved it when he said "I'll be back." Beautifully delivered one-liner. I really like the movie. At first I wasn't really interested in watching it but it was totally with the money.

After the movie, I had to pee real bad since I drank like a lot of soda. Me and Karen took a bathroom break and then went to Borders. We weren't really looking for anything in particular but we saw this big Death Note poster thing with Light next to the Twilight crap so we both took a picture of its awesomeness and said it was Zac Efron lol

We then made our way to the Manga section and looked for Death Note merchandise. I found two pins, one with Ryuk and the other with Light. We were both excited at my find. I bought it and gave the Light pin to Karen while I kept the Ryuk one. Here's a picture of my Ryuk pin next to my Blaqk Audio pin on my bag.

Later we went to Hot Topic and Sanrio for a bit before we decided to have dinner. I wasn't really sure what I wanted but Karen suggested Mexican food. So we went to Rubio's. I got a steak taco plate and a free soda by filling out some form. I was looking at the number thingy the guy gave me and pretended it was a taser. After a few minutes, we got our food. It looked so good!

Normally I wouldn't want to eat something with salsa and guacamole but I ate it all and it was delicious! The beans were really yummy too. Me and Karen started discussing the movie and about who we would cast to be in the Death Note movie. I thought that Christian Bale would make an excellent Ryuk. Oh and also Johnny Depp can be Rem since he had already played a cross dresser.

After dinner, Karen made me go alllllll the way up to Nordstrom's. I was getting dizzy by all the circles we were going in. At the top, we looked through the clothes and she found this nice leather jacket. She tried it on but it was a bit baggy but it fit me pretty good. After a minute or two of trying to decide whether or not I should buy it, I did. 43 bucks when the original price was about 70. Pretty good deal. 

Finally, we decided it was time to go home. We took the elevator down and I got a real bad headache. We caught the Dublin/Pleasanton train. Back on the East Bay, we commented how gloomy and dirty the sky looked. I think it looked that way because we were coming home. 

We got off at Bayfair and waited about 11 minutes in the cold for the Fremont train. Back at Hayward, my dad dropped Karen off at her house and now I'm back home. I'm really sleepy but don't feel like going to bed. My mom still isn't back from work yet. I hope that we don't have to go to church tomorrow. I'm thinking of asking my dad if he can take me out driving. Maybe he'll say yes. I hope he does.

BIG ANGRY WTF POST

I am so so soooo fucking mad! Today is the absolute worst day of my life!

Okay, first things first. The morning was kind of crappy, but then it always is. I woke up all achy as usually from my crappy mattress. I went about my morning going online for a bit and taking a shower and even had some fun jumping on my sister's bed. 

When it was time for me to leave for school, I was already running late. I had a midterm today and almost decided not to go because I felt like I was not ready for it but I forced myself to leave the house. On my way to the bus stop, my cousin saw me walking and she told me to come to her house when I finished class. I said okay. At the bus stop, I had to wait for like 10 minutes for the bus to come. Oh and my bag was pretty heavy since I was carrying my external hard drive with me in hopes of Ed being able to fix it.

Anyways, the bus comes and I make it to BART but the bus has just recently left so I had to wait another 10 or 15 minutes for the next one to come. While I was waiting, I texted Armida just to see where they were. She told me that they were only a few miles away and that my mum was mad and that I should hurry up and clean the house. I PANICKED. I asked her if she was serious and she said yes. I was so fucking worried about the mess I left in the house; I cleaned up yesterday but didn't today. There was nothing I could do so I went to school. 

I took my midterm (which I hopefully passed) and called Ed to meet up with him. I was going to hang out with him but decided it would be better to get home and clean as best as I could. On the bus, I tried to calm myself down by chatting with him about Death Note and stuff. I kept trying to call Armida but she wouldn't pick up! When I finally did get ahold of her, she said that they were just kidding and THEY WERE STILL IN LA. I was so pissed! She and my parents were making fun of me for freaking out but at least I still had time to clean. 

I gave Ed the hard drive and he waited with me for my bus. We chatted some more about random stuff. When the bus came, he left and I was waiting for the bus driver to leave. After a few minutes, the bus driver said something about his replacement not showing up and that everyone had to get off. Just when I started to calm down! I spent $1.75 and I still had to end up walking home! I spent most of my time texting Karen about how much my life is full of fail. When I passed by the park, there were a whole bunch of little kids having a soccor tournament thingy. They were running around everywhere and getting in my way! I wanted to kick them but there were parents everywhere too. 

When I FINALLY made it to my street, I saw one of my aunts and she chatted with me a bit and offered to try and help me get a job. I started to calm down again and when we finished talking, I went over to my cousin's house like I said I would. I knocked but no one answered so I got mad AGAIN and went home. Just two minutes after I walked into my house, my other aunt called and said she was going to bring something over. Turns out, it was a brand new printer. I was so excited. After she left, I started to set it up but it didn't come with a USB cord and I didn't have one lying around so that set me off again! I started kicking the computer chairs around in frustration. 

Corina came home a few minutes later and I told her about my horrible ass day. Fed up, I decided not to clean and make her do it all. Now I'm having her make me some macaroni and cheese. Hopefully the day will get better. Hopefully. 

In a few minutes, I'm going to go dye my hair. My hair is kind of dirty anyways, so it could use a wash. Just a few more hours until Armida and my parents come home for reals.

I spent most of my morning cleaning house. It was so boring! I swept, I mopped, I washed the dishes, I cleaned the dish rack, I cleaned the stove, I cleaned up the bathrooms, I tidied up the living room, everything! I think it took me about 2 hours. While I was working, I was listening to music. I put the volume up really loud and opened the windows in hopes of annoying my neighbors since their kids are always annoying me haha.

Once I cleaned all that I could, I headed over to Bayfair to do a little birthday present shopping for Stephany. It took me a while, but I found her something nice. I went over to Target and bought her a card, some black hair dye for myself (FINALLY) and some cookies to snack on. Afterward, I headed over to Michael's and looked for some tissue paper and some stickers. I couldn't find any nice stickers though, so I was sad. Maybe I'll look again tomorrow. 

Funny thing happened on my way home. I was waiting for the bus at BART and I was standing next to this old Mexican lady. When she saw me, she started fingering her little rosary and praying real fast. I feel as though I should be offended haha

Anyways, I'm back home. My aunt came over and dropped off a whole bunch of food. I found some pizza rolls and now they are my lunch! Yum!

Ooh, I got my cool hair clip in the mail today! I love it <3

Heathus Prayer

Lol I found this in my camera! 

It's me saying a prayer to Heathus Christ for our tostadas with Corina while Karen mans the camera.

In case you can't understand what the hell we're saying (even though I tried to fix the audio):

Karen: "Wait! Wait, I put pause. What do I do? Oh. It's recording."

Corina: "Oh, no!"

Me: "We're cutting that out!"

Karen: "Okay, go ahead. Do your thing."

Me: "Thank you Heathus for these tostadas we are about to consume and bless Senor Bale for the frijoles. In Heathus' name, Amen.

Corina: "Oh, man. I started laughing."

Me: *hit sister* "STOOPID!"

Spent the day at the mall with Karen and Van. We spent at least an hour at the food court just hanging out. Then we did a little store browsing. As usual, I got bored pretty quick and had to wait for the other two to finish. Oh but I entertained myself by joking with Van that the guy working at the glasses place was flirting with Karen. Very amusing. Later we went to the arcade. I haven't played DDR in so long, my body ached for a bit. I think I'm getting better at playing House of the Dead 2.

Around 5:30 Van went home and Karen came over to my house. I ate some of my left over Chinese food which was pretty good. Afterward, me, Karen and Corina went online and just looked up stuff. Then we watched some Doctor Who and Death Note. After a while I got bored and hung out on my couch and doing random stuff.

Karen and Corina were getting on my nerves playing with my Twitter so I hit and kicked them both. It made me feel a little better. Later me and my dad took Karen home and I'm back now watching another Buffy episode. I'm super sleepy so after this episode, I'm going to bed.

I have a few minutes before I need to get ready to meet up with Karen and Van at the mall.

Last night/this morning, I uploaded a little vlog just to let my subscribers know what I have been up to. 

I need to get some moneys together to buy an new external hard drive but I won't be able to until after tomorrow because I promised my family I would take them out for dinner.  I should have enough on me but still, I'm going to wait until after tomorrow. 

I think for my Poker Face video, I completed about 20 seconds, which is about 25% done since I cut the song down to about 1min and 17secs.  I'm not so sure how long it will take me to finish, that depends on school stuff and how long I can go before I get mad at Vegas again and quit. 

I want to work on my new Doctor Who video but I can't since I was using some clips from Secret Diary of a Call Girl and those got lost when my exHD crashed. 

I have to go now and take some jars of my dad's homemade chile to my grandma's house. I don't like the chile. It made the kitchen all stinky.

I thought I forgot my keys today and so I got locked out of my house. I went to my grandma's house to borrow her spare. She wasn't home so I had to wait for her. My uncle invited me to eat Chinese with him, my aunt and two of my cousins. So I ate Chinese. When we came home, I realized I had my keys on me the whole time. 

Later, me and Karen convinced Stephany and Van to get a Twitter. I posted a few pictures of what I ate at the restaurant just 'cause. I think I'm starting to grow a habit of taking a picture of everything I eat now...

Tomorrow I have to go to the fabric store and buy some black velcro to make Corina's choker to go with her prom dress. While I'm at it, I was thinking of buying some black hair dye. I'm undecided whether I should dye the blonde part of my hair.
